On a recent trip to Spain, I enjoyed the wonderful architecture and took many photos. This scene is from a winding hilly alleyway in Madrid. I especially liked the light pouring into the scene behind the walking figure. It perfectly captures that feeling of discovery around every corner that is found in the capital city. Painted in watercolor paint on 100% cotton cold press paper. 
The work measures 14" h x 11" w and is matted to 18" h x 14" w.
