This original watercolor was painted while standing across the road from one of the last active farms in Cary, NC owned by the Upchurch family along Carpenter- Upchurch Road and Louis Stevens Drive in the western part of town. It sits in the Agricultural Historic District and is so far "protected" from development. I call it "Still Here' because it is still here, while all around them, families have been selling their land for townhomes, apartments and subdivissions, the Carpenter family is dedicated to keeping theirs a functioning place. They are still here.

The original watercolor measures 9" x12 " and is framed to 12" x 16" in a whitewashed frame.
